This course covers the application and manipulation of algebraic formulas, simplifying expressions, solving linear equations, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing monomial fractions, ratios, proportions and percentages, as well as working with number lines, absolute and incremental Cartesian coordinates. Students analyze and apply the applications of formulas to common manufacturing and shop problems. 50% tuition rate for Apprenticeships
