- For transferring students, 75 of the 90 credits must be fully transferable as defined by the Intercollege Relations Commission (ICRC) guidelines for the Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) to be honored by four-year institutions in Washington. A maximum of 15 restriced elective [RE] credits may be used. The DTA will fulfill college and university general education requirements only. It may not meet unique institutional requirements, and does not modify admissions criteria for baccalaureate institutions. Upon entry to a baccalaureate institution, a DTA will generally provide a student with at least 90 quarter (60 semester) credits.
