Credits 1 10

Students analyze and use the Machinery's Handbook and other industry resources to identify the composition and characteristics of materials, including metals, plastics, ceramics, and other composites. They describe how composition influences each material's behavior, and how to manipulate that behavior through manufacturing processes such as tempering, case hardening, annealing, anodizing, shot-peening, swaging, and casting. 50% tuition rate for Apprenticeships
