This course is an introduction to advanced machining technologies, including laser cutting, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), and water jet cutting. Identification and characteristics of parts manufactured by advanced machining technologies is covered, as well as reading and evaluating advanced machining manuals and their application to the manufacturing setting. 50% tuition rate for Apprenticeships
