- Completion of an apprenticeship program of at least 5,200 (equivalent to 95 credit hours) on-the-job training (OJT) hours certified by the corresponding joint apprenticeship and training committee (JATC).
- Completion of 450 hours (equivalent to 34 credit hours) of related supplemental instruction (RSI) certified by JATC. The RSI must be provided by a JATC affiliated with Columbia Basin College.
