This class aims to prepare students for a career in behavioral health peer support. This is an introduction to storytelling and the power of vulnerability in using one?s own story in the workplace. The course will offer an introduction of the history of peer support and explore skills and techniques to assist the student in recognizing concepts of how to ethically use your story in your work as a Certified Peer Counselor.
